Aluminum oxide defluorinates just as the anion exchange resin, but the selectivity is much strong. The defluorination effect of the Aluminum oxide is good. The capacity is stable. It has high strength, low abrasion; no soften in water, no expansion, no powdery no crack. It can widely used in the deep drying of cracked gas, ethylene and propylene, hydrogen-generation, air separation, instrument air drying and fluorine treatment for H₂O₂, alos in the absorbing pollution material, such as H₂S, SO₂, HF and paraffin in the waste gas, especially in the drinking water defluorination.

Three main uses of this product:
1. Used for reclaiming degradation product in the working fluid in hydrogen peroxide production by Anthraquinone method, especially in the plants of palladium catalyst and three-component nickel catalyst, there is no other better method for degradation except Aluminum oxide, this kind of special absorbers, which is indispensable to hydrogen peroxide production.
2. Used for deep drying of gas or liquid phase of petrochemicals and adsorption drying by automatic instruments.
3. Used as defluorination in production of alkylbenzene or fordefuorainting in drinking water. It has been used by some home factories and approved that it accords with the technology demands perfectly.
